YEREVAN, JUNE 27, NOYAN TAPAN. Artsvik Minasian, a member of
the National Assembly ARFD faction, the Vice-Chairman of the NA
Financial-Credit and Budgetary Committee, at the June 27 press
conference reported that ARFD considers that in politics one should
be never guided by the principle of quarelling. He stated that the
activity of the authorities will be more efficient in the atmosphere
of solidarity.
A. Minasian reaffirmed the fact that currently ARFD is an alternative
both to the authorities and the opposition. He added that they
do not accept the position of the redical opposition, as "looking
from aside and criticizing is too easy." In A. Minasian’s words,
proposing programs, proving their efficiency and implementing them
is more difficult. He said that ARFD has adopted the very way having
the purpose "of expanding party’s electorate with active work."
He said that the most part of nearly 30 proposals submitted to the
government by ARFD has been adopted. In particular, as A. Minasian
said, proposals on stopping migration and encouraging immigration,
one-time encouragement of birthes, those about a new department in
foreign economic policy have been included in the program. He also said
that the government has rejected ARFD’s proposals on reconsideration
of tax policy, as well as raising the minimum salary.
