RA FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS WITH OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS

PARIS, JULY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. The RA Foreign Minister, Vardan Oskanian,
met with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs, Yuri Merzliakov and Bernard
Fassier, on July 10 in Paris. The Personal Representative of the
OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk, and an employee of the
U.S. State Department, Elizabeth Rood, also took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, they evaluated the results of the June 9 meeting
of Armenian and Azeri Presidents in Saint Petersburg held for the
purpose of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
According to the report provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA Foreign
Ministry Press and Information Department, the possibilities of
bringing the positions of the Armenian and Azeri sides closer and
the further tasks within the framework of the negotiations process
were also discussed at the meeting.
