NKR PRESIDENT DECORATED WITH AN ORDER "MATERNAL BEHEST"

The Union of Relatives of the Perished Fighters of the Nagorno-Karabagh
Republic has decorated NKR President Arkady Ghoukassian with an order
"Maternal Behest" for his contribution to national-liberation struggle
of Artsakh’s Armenians, to the establishment and formation of NKR’s
independent statehood, and for moral and material assistance rendered
to the families of the perished fighters.
The order was delivered to the President in the course of a meeting
with the members of the Union of Relatives of the Perished Fighters
of the Nagorno-Karabagh Republic held July 11. Receiving the award,
Arkady Ghoukassian expressed his gratitude to the Union, underscoring
that "it is impossible to create future without remembering the
past". Arkady Ghoukassian also voiced confidence that the families of
those perished during the Karabagh war would always hit the highlight
of the country’s leadership, NKR MFA Press Centre reports.
