USA LOST 3620 PEOPLE IN IRAQ. ANTI-WAR STRUGGLE TO CONTINUE FOR 30 YEARS MORE

Since the U.S. invasion to Iraq in March 2003, there had been 3620
U.S. soldiers killed and about 27.000 wounded. There are also 7 civil
employees of Pentagon among the victims. The grater part of the loses
of the American troops was caused by "the military actions of the
enemy," the weekly report of the U.S. Defense Ministry stated.
The document also includes data on the rest of the casualties of
the other coalition countries. The Great Britain is the first in the
list of the coalition members, as it has 159 victims. General Peter
Pace, Head of the U.S. Armed Forces Headquarter, stated at a recent
meeting with the U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan that the USA will have
to continue the anti-terrorism war for 20-30 years more. According
to him, the American soldiers who are currently serving in Iraq
and Afghanistan will not have to stay there for these two-or three
decades. "I believe that it’s better to continue the anti-terrorism
war in abroad that at home," he underlined.
Pace pointed out a number of countries that may cause problems in
the future, too. He, particularly, mentioned Afghanistan, Iran,
Iraq, Lebanon Syria, Somali, Sudan, Algeria, Columbia, Venezuela,
Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea and Pakistan.
