REPUBLICAN SQUARE FOUNTAINS TO BE SWITCHED ON IN MID-SEPTEMBER

YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS: Deputy Yerevan mayor Vano Vardanian
said today the fountains on Republican Square in downtown Yerevan
will be switched on in mid-September.
The fountains were switched off in spring for a major repair. The
deputy mayor said a French firm was hired to help redesign the
fountains.
The fountains were last repaired in 1986.
