STEPANAKERT HAS A FLAG

A few days ago the mayor of Stepanakert signed a decree affirming the
flag of the capital. The new symbol of the town is a rectangular white
canvas 100 by 170 cm with a red circle in the center. Inside the circle
there are 13 blue triangles arranged along the circle symbolizing
all the 13 Armenian capitals. At the center of the circle the orange
outline of the monument "We and Our Mountains" is drawn which expresses
the idea of statehood and the main value of the town – human. The red,
blue and orange colors are the colors of the national flag of NKR.
