Levon Zurabyan: Conclusion Of Interim Commission Is Fraud (Video)

LEVON ZURABYAN: CONCLUSION OF INTERIM COMMISSION IS FRAUD (VIDEO)

14:49 | April 8,2015 | Politics

While Armenian lawmakers were discussing the conclusion of the
National Assembly interim commission studying the gas supply system,
freelance MP Edmon Marukyan said the report was ‘plain evidence of
numerous crimes.’

“It turns out numerous crimes have been committed over years and they
must be investigated by the investigative team. I wonder where the
relevant bodies were to stop the criminals and say, “Stop here! What
are you doing?” we should understand where we are going,” he said.

Then he spoke about the deal concluded between Gazprom and Armenian
government which foresees compensation for the debt to cover the
difference in prices.

Head of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Levon Zurabyan
said the discussion was based on fraud, as the report was not adopted
by the National Assembly in due manner.

“A false document has been submitted to the National Assembly and
the main responsibility lies on the head of the commission, Vardan
Ayvazyan. There is nothing surprising here as the top leaders of the
country also retain their power by false methods,” he said.

The opposition claims that with those 20 percent the Armenian side paid
the debt to Gazprom, which since 2011 the government was allegedly
keeping secret from the customers, while they imported natural gas
at an increased price. Levon Zurabyan thinks that the conclusion is
simply a ‘fraud.’

POLITICAL ANALYST: RUSSIA WANTS TO LEAVE US WITHOUT ANY ALTERNATIVE (VIDEO)

Political analyst Stepan Grigoryan says Armenia can start cooperation
with Iran in all spheres, first of all in the energy sector.

However, he says there is a serious obstacle for this cooperation in
the face of the Russian Federation.

“Russia wants to leave us without any alternative. They want to make
us fully dependent of them. Russia wants to hinder our cooperation
with the European Union, the West and Iran and uses its levers of
influence against us. Gazprom is one of them,” he said.

We’re Ready To Go To War In Case Of Azeri Provocation: President

WE’RE READY TO GO TO WAR IN CASE OF AZERI PROVOCATION: PRESIDENT

April 7, 2015 – 17:29 AMT

PanARMENIAN.Net – President Serzh Sargsyan spoke of the Nagorno
Karabakh peace process in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel’s
program, Opinion, Tert.am reports.

“We are sure that the principles contained in the statements by
the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing states – the United
States, France and Russia – in the document that is the basis for
our negotiations with Azerbaijan for more than seven years are an
acceptable basis for a settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The unanimous opinion of the co-chairing states is that the principles
are a unit and none of them must be preferred to the others. Of
course, we share the co-chairs’ opinion that the two nations must
be prepared for peace rather than war. Regrettably, Azerbaijan’s
leadership is doing quite the opposite. We have all been witnesses
to rising tensions since last summer, and the states and officials
dealing with the problem have no doubt Azerbaijan is responsible for
escalation,” Sargsyan said.

Azerbaijan’s leaders do not even conceal the fact. At the conference on
security in Munich they stated that the tension would continue until
Armenia ceded the territories surrounding Nagorno Karabakh. But the
Nagorno Karabakh army had to create a security zone to protect the
Armenian population from daily fire.

“That is, Azerbaijan’s leaders are ignoring the principles proposed
by the OSCE Minsk Group to resolve the problem. Of course, we have to
defend ourselves, and if Azerbaijan embarks on a military adventure,
we are not afraid to go to war.

War means losses, and we will suffer great losses regardless of the
outcome. We suffered great losses during the Great Patriotic War.

Armenia’s population was 1.9 million when the Great Patriotic War
broke out, and 2.8 million Armenians lived in the entire Soviet Union
then. A total of 600,000 Armenians went to the front, and 314,000
of them never returned. Every ninth Armenian and almost 12% of our
population,” President Serzh Sargsyan said.

Siranush Ghazanchyan

On Easter Sunday, BBC Radio Wales All Things Considered told a
story of hope and resurrection. One hundred years after the start of
the Armenian Genocide, Roy Jenkins reflected on the impact of those
events with the Rev. Canon Dr Patrick Thomas, Vicar of Christ Church,
Carmarthen – an expert on Armenia – and members of the Welsh Armenian
community.

Visiting the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Cardiff’s Cathays Park,
the only public memorial to the Genocide on British soil, he also
meets members of the Welsh Armenian community to learn how this event,
a hundred years ago, still resonates for them today. The programme also
includes extracts from eyewitness accounts and sacred Armenian music.

Extracts include ‘Der Zor’ translated by Verjine Svazlian in The
Armenian Genocide, and Peter Balakian’s translation of Gregoris
Balakian’s work Armenian Golgotha.

Sensational News From Moscow

SENSATIONAL NEWS FROM MOSCOW

Haikazn Ghahriyan, Editor-in-Chief
Comments – 07 April 2015, 11:40

The Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan is in Russia for
an official visit. He will negotiate with his Russian counterpart
Sergey Lavrov.

The message of the Russian MFA includes an interesting statement:
“Efficient cooperation has been established between Moscow and Yerevan
on main global and regional issues, the positions of the states on
the majority of issues are either close or coincide. We expect that
the visit of the Armenian minister of foreign affairs will become
an important landmark for further development of bilateral foreign
policy dialogue, serve the strengthening of the Russian-Armenian
allied partnership.”

In fact, for the first time it is established that there are issues
on which the positions of Armenia and Russia do not coincide. This
is a normal situation for relations between any countries, of course,
but in the case of Armenia and Russia this acquires a special meaning.

The point is that so far it has been announced by Russian and Armenian
official and non-official circles that there are no issues between the
two countries. And policy is based on this “principle”. However, there
were problems, and the Armenian-Russian relationship was unilateral –
Armenia carried out Russia’s political requirements.

In addition, the problems are more serious than they may seem, even
though attempts are made to hide them behind assertions of friendship,
even though the governments of two countries are “coalesced”.

The problem is that the vital interests of Armenia and Russia do not
coincide and they are opposite. This is an objective situation and
it is impossible to avoid it as it was so far.

However, this situation cannot last long. Significant transformations
are taking place in the world, and the South Caucasus is in the focus.

After a possible deal between the West and Iran the situation will
change in our region and the countries will have to react not to
appear in the margin of international politics.

This is one of the issues which will be a real trial for the
Armenian-Russian relations. While the Iran-West normalization is not
in line with the policy of the current government of Russia, it is a
real chance for Armenia to assume an international role and resolve
its own problems.

This is one of the issues, there are other issues as well, for example,
Karabakh, energy, the Near East and so on.

A serious and constructive policy dialogue between Armenia and Russia
has matured. The two countries need each other, Russia more than
Armenia. If the Armenian-Russian relations are further not based
on equality, the sides will eventually fail their foreign policy
and interests.

Has Moscow realized that the policy of vassalization of Armenia hits
Russia back like boomerang?

Before leaving for Moscow Nalbandyan held an interview with the
Russia-based International Policy Magazine and made another interesting
statement: “Armenia and Russia are tied with allied cooperation. You
cannot be allies in one sphere and not be such in other matters.”

The statements of the Russian foreign ministry and the Armenian
foreign minister could be interpreted from two points of view. On
the one hand, they may indicate the acknowledgement of problems in
the Armenian-Russian relations and intention to start constructive
negotiations. On the other hand, it may mean perpetuation of
the existing policy with a tougher intention of “elimination of
disagreements”, i.e. complete isolation of Armenia.

Which path will Moscow and Yerevan choose? At least, it was
officially announced for the first time that there are issues in the
Armenian-Russian relations, and it means that the solution is close.

Muslims Praise Key Mideast Leader ‘Like God’

MUSLIMS PRAISE KEY MIDEAST LEADER ‘LIKE GOD’

Supporters say he has ‘all the attributes of Allah’

Leo Hohmann

Reports continue to pop up in Middle East publications that Turkey’s
leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is seen within his ruling AK Party as
more than just a president.

Consider the following reports out of Turkey:

A billboard has appeared in the GölbaÅ~_ı district of Adıyaman
province inviting people to attend a “holy birthday” event to celebrate
Erdogan’s birthday. The negative reaction this billboard received
on social media stems from the fact that such an event is usually
held to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. The billboard
was an invitation to “a program of unity and togetherness organized
on the occasion of the birthday of our president.” The event was
organized by the GölbaÃ…~_ı Municipality, reported Today’s Zaman,
a secular Turkish newspaper. No government officials or supporters
have objected to the billboard or the statements.

AK Party Bursa deputy Huseyin Ã…~^ahin said touching Erdogan is a form
of prayer, while AK Party Duzce deputy Fevai Arslan said Erdogan has
“all the attributes” of God.

Last year during a political rally, as a woman fainted, Erdogan
gestured to the crowd to carry the woman up to the platform, where he
touched her, causing her to shake out of her spell, shouting, “Allah
Akbar!” The headline at Vocativ.com read: “Prime Minister ‘heals’
sick woman on campaign trail.” (Watch video of the “healing” here.)

A March 30 article for Al Monitor by columnist Mustafa Akyol notes
that devotion to Erdogan or “Erdoganism” is “morphing into an ideology
unto itself, disillusioning veterans of Turkey’s Islamist movement.”

Akyol, whose articles also appear in the International New York Times,
the Wall Street Journal and the Turkish Hurriyet Daily News, wrote:

“Pro-Erdogan propaganda, to which almost half the Turkish media is now
fully devoted, has taken the shape of a cult of personality, which is
also not a typical Islamist phenomenon. A recent book, ‘Recep Tayyip
Erdogan: The Sun of the Age,’ proudly refers to him as ‘an idol for our
youth,’ which would sound bizarre, if not heretical, to the average
Islamist. In 2011, an AKP deputy declared, ‘Even touching Erdogan is
a form of worship,’ and in 2014 another AKP deputy proclaimed that
Erdogan ‘carries all the attributes of Allah in himself.’ Such views,
heretical from a traditional Islamic perspective, were criticized and
ridiculed by Erdogan’s opponents, but he conspicuously said nothing.”

Voice crying in the wilderness

Joel Richardson, author of “The Islamic Antichrist” and director of
the documentary film “End Times Eyewitness,” does not believe Erdogan
is the Antichrist. But he has been warning for years that something
is going on in Turkey worth watching, and that this country of 78
million people and home to the region’s largest army could ultimately
be more dangerous than ISIS or even Iran. In short, it is fertile
ground for an antichrist figure to rise up and lead a large portion
of the world’s 1.5 million Muslims.

The acclaimed documentary film “End Times Eyewitness” explores what
Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders in the Middle East are saying
about the times in which we live, the prospect of rebuilding the
Jewish Temple and the return of a messianic figure in the last days.

It’s available in the WND Superstore.

It should be remembered that the death toll caused by ISIS, which
has shocked the world with its brutality toward Christians and other
religious minorities, is still miniscule compared to the genocidal
feats of the Ottoman Empire, which slaughtered 1.5 million Armenian
Christians and another million or so Greek Orthodox, Syriac Orthodox
and Protestant Christians. The 100th anniversary of the Armenian
genocide is being commemorated on April 24.

What do YOU think? Where will the Antichrist come from? Sound off in
the WND Poll

More than four years ago, while being interviewed for Glenn Beck’s
documentary, “Rumors of War Part 2,” Richardson made the statement
that in Erdogan, “We have the modern-day Adolf Hitler of the Middle
East emerging right before our eyes.”

This seemed like an extreme statement to make at the time. But in
light of recent developments, Richardson’s assessment of Erdogan now
appears less controversial.

“He is a megalomaniacal dictator of the worst stripe, in a nation
where nationalism is a religion, and that celebrates excessive exalted
leadership like their Sultans of the past,” Richardson told WND.

It is nearly impossible for most Americans to grasp the degree of
nationalism that exists in Turkey, he said.

That’s why he tried to provide a taste of the leader-worship during a
rally he filmed for “End Times Eyewitness.” Richardson gives viewers
of this documentary a front-row seat at an AKP rally in which a sea of
adoring fans wave flags and chant songs to exult their leader, Erdogan.

Watch clip of Nazi-like rally in Turkey captured by the documentary
“End Times Eyewithness.”

“When we look back at the Nazi rallies, we recoil at the way Germans
had an almost religious devotion to their nation and to their leader,
Adolf Hitler,” Richardson says. “Although there is a strong contingency
of those who do not support Erdogan in Turkey, for those of the AK
party who do, their support for him is nearly religious.”

Man of the hour?

Not only is Erdogan the embodiment of Turkish success over the past
decade, but more importantly, he is the embodiment of Turkey’s future
aspirations, specifically at a time when many Muslims believe Islam
is rising up to take its rightful place in the world.

It remains to be seen whether Erdogan’s god-like appeal among his
own party in Turkey will translate beyond his borders. Right now
he is just one of several international Muslim leaders competing
for influence among the wider “uma” of Muslim believers. Abu Bakr
Al-Baghdadi, the leaver of the ISIS caliphate, would surely have
something to say about who leads the restored Ottoman Empire.

“As so much of the Muslim world now believes that we are on the very
cusp of the messianic age or the age of the Mahdi, Erdogan is looked to
(by his followers) as the chosen one, poised to lead the Turks into a
position of exalted leadership over the Islamic community, and thus
the world,” Richardson said. “In the eyes of many religious Turks,
Erdogan is the one who will forever enshrine the Turkish people as
divinely ones, the race called by Allah to lead the world.”

Some Christian prophecy watchers, such as Walid Shoebat, believe
Erdogan is essentially claiming to be God by not rebuking those who
have anointed him with such lofty status.

Richardson doesn’t go this far.

“This isn’t really true, although he is most certainly pushing the
boundaries of orthodox Islam and upsetting some imams in the process,”
he said. “In the same way that President Obama imbibed upon and played
up the messianic devotion that swirled around him during his candidacy,
so also is Erdogan playing the Mahdi card.”

The similarities between Nazi Germany and present-day Turkey can be
seen in numerous ways.

It is plainly evident in the philosophy of Turkey’s prime minister,
Ahmet Davutoglu, who is the architect of the Islamist party of Turkey’s
rise to success over the past decade.

In his 2001 book, “Strategic Depth,” Davutoglu draws upon the political
philosophy of German Karl Haushofer, who popularized the idea of
Lebensraum, or living space, a phrase employed by Germany during
the 1920s and 1930s to emphasize the need to expand its borders into
Austria, Poland, Czechoslovakia and beyond.

Davutoglu believes the nations established after the breakup of the
Ottoman Empire are artificial Western creations.

“Turkey must reclaim these nations in order to carve out its own
Lebensraum – a phrase he uses unapologetically throughout his book,”
Richardson said. “Davutoglu argues that reclaiming the nations that
comprise the former Ottoman Empire is an act of saving them. He
believes it would bring about the cultural and economic unification
of the Islamic world, which Turkey will lead into the messianic era.”

And every messianic era needs a messiah.

“In the imagination of many Turks, Erdogan is the man to fill this
role,” Richardson said.

“In the years ahead, the world must keep its eyes on the profoundly
dangerous combination of Islamism and messianic nationalism that has
arisen in Turkey,” he said. “Never before have we seen a moment where
so many dangerous trends are all emerging at the same time.”

6 avril 2015

(Keeping up with the Kardashians en vo) sont habitues a decouvrir

telespectateurs.

“Ils sont vraiment fières de leurs origines”

En effet, le magazine people americain US Weekly annonce que la famille
Kardashian va se rendre en Armenie cette semaine. Robert Kardashian,
le père des quatre premiers enfants de Kris Jenner (Kourtney, Kim,
Khloe et Robert), etait d’origine armenienne. A plusieurs reprises,

supplementaires au magazine US Weekly.

(y compris Rob Kardashian donc a priori) s’y rendra, a l’exception
