Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The Armenian international was left out of United's match-day squad
for the impressive 4-1 win over Newcastle United, but Mourinho has
rubbished any talk of a rift between the pair

by Luke Brown

Jose Mourinho has flatly denied there is a rift between him and
Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Manchester United manager surprisingly opted to leave the Armenian
forward out of his match-day squad for the

4-1 victory over Newcastle United

, leading to speculation that there was an issue between the pair.

Mkhitaryan watched the match from the stands but Mourinho has insisted
his decision was based purely on form and that it wouldn't be long
before the 28-year-old was back in his starting team.

"The story is always the same. In some positions, when you don't have
injuries, you have lots of options in other positions,"Mourinho said,
speaking ahead of United's Champions League Group A match against
Basel.

Yerevan and Moscow are developing the roadmap for implementation of programs within the frames of a joint investment fund: the resources can also be directed for financing the programs in IT and energy field, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said in an interview to RIA Novosti.

The project on creating Armenian-Russian investment fund was submitted in late January 2017. It will finance those fields which can ensure increase of trade turnover, exchange of import, development of industrial cooperation between the two countries.

“As for the Russian-Armenian fund, we continue working. Recently the representatives of the fund visited Armenia. If we talk about the fields for investments, they are the IT, energy, high technology production…At the moment the sides are working on forming a roadmap”, President Sargsyan said.

At the same time, the President said another two investments funds have been established in Armenia: one of them is the Pan-Armenian investment fund, and the second is the Investors Club of Armenia. “On November 13 this fund will hold a great presentation in Yerevan on launching an investment program (a little more than one billion USD). Those are investments mainly in Armenia’s energy fields which includes the modernization of Armenian electric networks, construction of new hydroelectric power plant and organization of production for Schneider Electric energy company. And I think that this production will find its consumer in the Russian market as well”, Serzh Sargsyan said.

Ruben Mehrabyan: The country is facing a complex solution to the problem, the problem will not be solved only due to the army

Former RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan’s wife, Ruzanna Khachatryan, made a note on Facebook today, which triggered heated debate. She wrote:

“I remember how he was avoiding military service, I remember how the Military Police were looking for him. His father appealed to one of his female friends who was an adviser to a high-ranking military official to release his son from police persecution. At that time I was curing her teeth, and remember how the caring friend, then rescued him from prison with the help of Shirkhanyan, who, if I am not mistaken was the Deputy Defense Minister at that time… And today, as a great “philosopher”, as a great “teacher,” shaking his finger from different chairs, he tries to give advice and instruction to the younger generation.”

MP Nikol Pashinyan assured that the matter concerned the current Minister of Defense Vigen Sargsyan.

A1 + has invited Ruben Mehrabyan to discuss the topic.

Did Vigen Sargsyan serve in the army or not?
