Garo Paylan primary target, Levon Hovsepyan
Aravot, Armenia Garo Paylan primary target, Levon Hovsepyan “It is a concern that the elite of “National Democratic Party” has already been arrested,” Turkologist Levon Hovsepyan referring to the demand of Ministry of Justice of Turkey to strip Paylan off immunity. Let us remind that Ministry of Justice also demanded to strip off immunity of other members of Paylan’s party and also some members of Republican People’s party. Our interviewee does not exclude that the parliament of Turkey will proceed with the demand: “Of course, it is not only against Garo Paylan, but he is a primary target with his activities. Let us take into consideration that his party is fragmented, and in that context, Paylan has a bigger role.” Pursuant to Levon Hovsepyan, suchlike politicians, and their activities are not preferable for Turkey’s current political elite, which is trying to neutralize them. Soccer: Europa League Final: Pogba, Mkhitaryan’s strikes help Manchester United trounce Ajax 2-0 to win maiden title
English soccer giant Manchester United defeated Netherland's soccer powerhouse Aja Amsterdam 2-0 in the title clash to clinch their maiden Europa League title at Stockholm on Sunday.
French midfielder Paul Pogba opened the scoring in the 18th minute as his powerful shot took a deflection off an Ajax defender and found the goalkeeper wrong-footed.Henrikh Mkhitaryan then doubled the lead by scoring a goal in the early part of the second half.
The win helped the Red Devils secure a berth in the group stages of the Champions League next year.It was United's third title of the season, adding to their silverware won in the League Cup and the Community Shield earlier in the season.
A minute's silence held for the victims of Monday's suicide bombing at a pop concert in Manchester in which 22 people died turned into applause as chants of "Manchester" and "We'll Never Die" bellowed out from the English supporters before the match.
Mkhitaryan then flicked the ball home early in the second half following a corner and, with chants of "Manchester, Manchester" echoing around the stadium, United held on to win the one European trophy missing from the Old Trafford cabinet.
"We know things like this are very sad all over the world," said Pogba referring to the attack. "We had to focus. Manchester – we won for them. We played for England, we played for Manchester and we played for them – the people who died."
"The goal was to win all the way through this season. We've done it, and we're proud," said Pogba. "People say we've had a bad season but the prize is great and we've done it now. We have three trophies so enjoy it now," he added.
United's triumph followed success in the League Cup and the Community Shield in Jose Mourinho's first season in charge at Old Trafford with Champions League football secured after United could only manage a sixth-place finish in the Premier League.

Pogba scored with a deflected strike before Mkhitaryan’s close-range finish on an emotional night in Stockholm.
Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan added to the lead early in the second period, flicking home from close range after Ajax failed to deal with a corner from the right.
Soccer: Mkhitaryan credits Man Utd goals to teammates
Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan has hailed his teammates following a successful debut season at Old Trafford.
Mkhitaryan had endured a slow start to life at Manchester United since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund over the summer, but the Armenian went on to become a crucial player for the Red Devils as the season progressed.
Mkhitaryan ended his debut campaign on a very positive note, helping United to a 2-0 victory in the final of the Europa League on Wednesday by scoring on the nigh. Following the game, the 28-year-old praised his teammates for helping him enjoy a productive season in front of goal.
He said: "Thank you to my team-mates because without them I could not have scored so many goals.
"Everyone said I was going to score in the final and I did thanks to my team-mates. Now we are playing in the Champions League next year."
Soccer: Manchester United fans delighted with Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s perfromance against Ajax
Manchester United fans were delighted with Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s performance against Ajax in the Europa League final in Stockholm.
He hadn’t played an incredible first-half but came back in the second-half with a point to prove as Chris Smalling headed down a corner for the Armenian to flick in acrobatically from close range.
Mkhitaryan loves a goal in the Europa League and it was a much-deserved finish after his incredible contribution to get Man united so far in the competition this season, even after he peeled the defender off Paul Pogba in the first half to help the Frenchman pick up the opening goal of the game.
Here’s what supporters on social media had to say about his performance.
Although he’s struggled with consistency this season at Man United, Mkhitaryan has been able to showcase his talent and prove that he’ll be one hell of a player with some guidance from Mourinho.
His best is yet to come but one thing is already clear, there is definitely a position for him in the side as he provides a creative threat that not many others in the team can match.
Soccer: Dwight Yorke sends message to Man United fans about Henrikh Mkhitaryan
The Armenian playmaker joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund last summer and has been a regular fixture in the team under Jose Mourinho.
However, the midfielder made something of a slow start to life at Old Trafford following his transfer in the early stages of the campaign.
Mkhitaryan improved in the second part of the campaign but there is still a sense at Old Trafford that he can further up his game.
And Manchester United legend Yorke believes it will not be long before Mkhitaryan finds his best form for the Red Devils.
Yorke told 888sport: “We’ve seen Mkhitaryan come in and really give the team balance and contribute with goals as well. Unfortunately he hasn’t been able to really kick on due to injuries and the manager’s rotation policy but he’s a really talented player who causes a lot of trouble for defenders when he’s on song.
“The problem is that at Manchester United you cannot have too many bad days without it being noticed and then the critics jump on the bandwagon.
“A first season in the Premier League is always a difficult scenario but he has everything you need to be successful.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table in Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge as they missed out on a top-four spot in the top flight.
Mkhitaryan scored four goals and made one assist in 24 Premier League games this season.
Soccer: Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan lift Manchester United to Europa League triumph
Following on from the tragic events in Manchester on Monday night, a game of football was always going to be just that, but it was an important and perhaps fitting result for Jose Mourinho’s team. It was also a deserved one. A minute’s silence, which shifted to a minute’s applause, was held before kick-off in memory of the 22 people who died.
Marouane Fellaini squandered a great early chance before fortune favoured Mourinho’s brave. Space opened up for Pogba on the edge of the box from Fellaini’s pass and his goalbound effort took a huge deflection off Davinson Sanchez, with a wrong-footed Andre Onona only able to flap a desperate hand as the ball hit the back of the net.
If the sense of occasion seemed to inspire United, it had the opposite effect on Ajax who seemed overawed by the occasion – the fearless, attacking, free-flowing football that had got them to this stage sadly lacking in the opening half.
United continued to dictate after the restart and their dominance was quickly rewarded as Chris Smalling headed Juan Mata’s corner into Mkhitaryan’s path, with the former Dortmund man finishing with a smart overhead.
Jesse Lingard had the chance to make it more comprehensive but for a great cover tackle from the excellent Davinson Sanchez and the match ended with Wayne Rooney, whose career began for United with a hat-trick in the Champions League, coming on for possibly the final time in a United shirt.
In winning the Europa League for the first time in their history, United win their fifth European title. They will join the 2017-18 Champions League at the group stage, along with Premier League rivals Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City. Liverpool must negotiate a play-off.
Paul Pogba (Manchester United): It hasn’t always been easy to isolate what his position is this season on a difficult opening year in red. He knew his role tonight, set the ball rolling with a fortuitous effort but defended manfully, broke up attacks and set United on the front foot in equal measure.
10’ – FELLAINI CHANCE! Mata whips in a wicked ball and Fellaini fails to get a clean contact on his header. Should have done better.
16’ – ROMERO SAVE! Ajax work it nicely down the left. It’s cut back to Traore from Younes but his shot is batted down by Romero.
18’ – GOAL! Ajax 0-1 United. That’s tough on Ajax. It opened up for Paul Pogba and he took on the shot at goal. It takes a wicked deflection off Sanchez and into the net with Onona going the wrong way.
24’ – ONONA SAVE! A confident run and confident strike from Valencia is batted away from Onona as United seek a second.
48’ – GOAL! Ajax 0-2 United. That’s the second they wanted and breathing space. The corner is swung in from Mata and it’s Mkhitaryan with the overhead from close range after Smalling headed goalwards.
65’ – FELLAINI CHANCE! Fellaini should have wrapped it up but plants his header straight at Onona from Pogba's cross.
88’ – GREAT TACKLE! Lingard is through on goal but a great last gasp challenge from Sanchez prevents a killer third.
- United win the Europa League for the first time in their history. They have now won every major trophy available to them.
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic has won the first major European trophy of his 18-year career.
- Jose Mourinho is the first United manager in history to win two major trophies in his first season in charge.
